I was hoping somebody might know how to stop certain devices from conecting through wi-fi to the router. the old 192.168.1.254 admin login i cant access any more and I am left with this new interface as pictured.

The old admin login granted device access control for any device using wi-fi. You could allow weekdays and weekend times for device control.

The new http://dsldevice.lan admin login doesnt allow any control from what i can see. - Hi, I've sent you an email which should help. NickDJ

Information about upgrading a TG588V V2 to allow blocks of ports to be input into port forwarding got a phone working after 10 weeks. Fantastic.

We have been sent a replacement router (Technicolor TG589vac V2) from SSE as our previous model (Technicolor TG589vac) had issues. We have today tried to connect our wireless Epson printer to the unit and have now lost the 2,4GHZ and 5.0GHZ functions on the new router??? We have turned the router off and back on again but to no avail, these functions flatly refuse to light up??? - I've sent you an email to help. NickDJ

Frustrated with Technicolor products, Manchester
Have the tg589vac and want to connect 2 off wireless access points to 2 of the Ethernet ports, manual is good info but I am no expert I would like to be able to limit the speed of these points so they don't take all the speed of our connection. Can I do this somehow when logged on to the router? - Unfortunately the router doesn't support this and you'd need a more advanced router. NickDJ

I've just upgraded to fibre optic broadband and so now have a new router. I am no longer able to view my cctv cameras and believe this might be because I would need to install port forwarding on my new router. --- I've sent you an email and link. NickDJ

This site is great, it's so annoying that Technicolor don't make user manuals available for their products. I don't suppose you can get a manual for their new TG789vac_v2? I just recieved one from SSE and can't seem to login with the default username "admin" and the access key printed on the bottom of the router. - Answer - Try the username 'engineer' and Access Key on the bottom of the router.
